Heritage Arts Grants
#
The Springfield Arts Commission's annual Heritage Arts Grant Program makes funds available to Springfield groups involved in the cultural life of the city. The goal of these grants is to encourage community-based public programs, such as, but not limited to concerts, theater, visual art, dance, or literature. Grants range in amount from $100 to $500. Any Springfield-based group may apply. Applications are accepted each fall, with distribution of funding the following year.

Recipients of the 2009 grants are: Emerald Art Center; Springfield Alliance for Equality and Respect; Springfield High School Art Department; Springfield Jazz Singers; Springfield Library Youth Services; The Tune Travelers; and, West Winds Flute Choir.
